En tant que Electronics Designer, vous participez au développement des détecteurs en concevant des circuits électroniques et contribuez à la croissance du portefeuille de produits de l’entreprise.

Spécificités du métier

  • Conception, réalisation et validation de circuits électroniques

Your mission

Two main objectives are expected from the corporate digital product manager:

1. You are the key person in the company ensuring the “digital service management” by monitoring the sustainable operation of the digital services provided to the customers.

You ensure the customers support on the field or remotely and you take benefit from that experience to initiate a continuous improvement of the BEA offer in terms of products and services.

2. By working closely with the other product managers and marketing members of the company, you centralize all the digital needs related to products and services. You ensure the coherence of the different demands and translate those needs into specifications for the development teams if needed. The digital needs include among others:

  • The follow up and continuous improvement of “Sensorio”, BEA’s cloud-based platform for connected sensors.
  • A GUI interface to configure more easily BEA’s raw data sensors.
  • Some “marketing-related” digital tools (ex: small distributable software to calculate energy savings on automatic doors)
  • The follow-up of new smartphone apps

All the digital parts related directly to the media-marketing department (websites, videos, animations, …) are not covered by this function.

 

Your activities

Within the Corporate Marketing Department, after in-depth technical training about BEA connected products, your activities are:

    • You daily monitor the cloud-based system and connected product operation and are accountable of ensuring their maintenance using either internal or external resources.
    • In collaboration with the purchase department, you manage the external third parties to obtain the goods and services required to fulfil the needs linked to BEA connected solutions.
    • Thanks to your proximity with the markets through your support function, you are a key interface between the market needs and the Product Managers.
    • As member of the Security Group, you participate in the definition of the security policy that will ensure a safe operation of the BEA digital solutions.
    • You authorize the update of the cloud solution and IoT devices upgrade.
    • You play the role of adviser to the different services and BU of the company to inform and train them in the different processes related to the data services execution.
    • You maintain a clear vision of all technical aspects related to ongoing connectivity needs.
    • You are in daily contact with the product managers of the company to centralize their digital demands, work together on global specifications and ensure the follow up of those developments.
    • You work closely with the CMO and the corporate product manager to establish a strategic “digital product roadmap” for the company.

Your skills and competencies

    • You have an industrial, commercial or civil engineering degree or a degree in IT with a strong UX approach.
    • You are strongly customer oriented
    • You are analytical, methodological, proactive, rigorous, curious and stress resistant.
    • You have thorough knowledge of English and French (written and oral).

Your mission

As Back End Developer, you will be responsible for server-side web application logic and writing web services and APIs.

You ensure the running of the back-end services supporting the web application, running of the server and database.

You monitor the security and the sustainable operation of the “connected products” applications.

You participate in the improvement and the upgrade of the developments.

 

Your activities

Within the Corporate R&D Department, your activities are:

    • You develop, maintain and enhance the backend services supporting our connected applications.
    • Building reusable code and libraries for future use.
    • Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
    • You diagnose and resolve backend bugs and support requests.
    • You intervene in the update of the cloud solution and IoT devices upgrade.
    • You define and implements the test strategy to assure the quality and sustainability of our developments.
    • You track and identify the occurrence of (attempts of) attacks and take appropriate actions.
    • You execute the internal security procedures and coordinate the required actions with the different services.
    • You permanently monitor the security IT trends and you keep your technical knowledge up-to-date.

Your skills and competencies

    • You have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science.
    • You have 3-5 years experience in (C# / ASP.Net / PHP) programming and you have knowledge of the different environments used in our solutions (Azure, DotNet, SQL Server …).
    • Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
    • An experience in IT security standards, user authentication between multiple systems, servers, and environments and in the IoT world is a plus.
    • Knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript and AngularJS is a plus.
    • You have thorough knowledge of English and French (written and oral).
    • You are organized, pro-active, rigorous and customer-minded.
    • You have good communication skills.

As Head of New Product Development, you manage the new products development department, you ensure the organization of the development activities and the efficiency of design teams, and you collaborate to the research & innovation strategy of the company.

Directly reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, and having a cross-functional role in the company, you are responsible for the strategy of new product development and operational deployment.
