Your mission

As Back End Developer, you will be responsible for server-side web application logic and writing web services and APIs.

You ensure the running of the back-end services supporting the web application, running of the server and database.

You monitor the security and the sustainable operation of the “connected products” applications.

You provide technical support to (internal) Technical Support Department.

You participate in the improvement and the upgrade of the developments.

 

Your activities

Within the Corporate R&D Department, your activities are:

    • You develop, maintain and enhance the backend services supporting our connected applications.
    • Building reusable code and libraries for future use.
    • Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
    • You diagnose and resolve backend bugs and support requests.
    • You intervene in the update of the cloud solution and IoT devices upgrade.
    • You define and implements the test strategy to assure the quality and sustainability of our developments.
    • You track and identify the occurrence of (attempts of) attacks and take appropriate actions.
    • You execute the internal security procedures and coordinate the required actions with the different services.
    • You permanently monitor the security IT trends and you keep your technical knowledge up-to-date.
    • As member of the Security Group, you participate in the definition of the security policy.
    • You manage the official BEA market place accounts (App store and Google play).

Your skills and competencies

    • You have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science.
    • You have 3-5 years experience in (C# / ASP.Net / PHP) programming and you have knowledge of the different environments used in our solutions (Azure, DotNet, SQL Server …).
    • Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
    • An experience in IT security standards, user authentication between multiple systems, servers, and environments and in the IoT world is a plus.
    • Knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript and AngularJS is a plus.
    • You have thorough knowledge of English and French (written and oral).
    • You are organized, pro-active, rigorous and customer-minded.
    • You have good communication skills.

HEAD OF NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT (M/F)

YOUR MISSION

As Head of New Product Development, you manage the new products development department, you ensure the organization of the development activities and the efficiency of design teams, and you collaborate to the research & innovation strategy of the company.

YOUR ACTIVITIES

Directly reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, and having a cross-functional role in the company, you are responsible for the strategy of new product development and operational deployment.

You work to the optimal functioning of your department (made up of about 30 multidisciplinary engineers) taking into account the annual budget allocated to you, the respect of the deadlines, the respect of the costs of developments, the objectives to reach, the technical constraints, quality, …

You plan and make available the resources (staff, materials, tools and methodology) required to achieve the objectives and this, in collaboration with the Managers of your Department.

You supervise the team leaders (software, mechanics, electronics, optics, signal processing, microwaves) and facilitate inter-disciplinary collaboration.

You also supervise a Project Leaders team closely linked to customer needs.

You animate a dynamic of continuous improvement : management / evolution / adaptation of skills and tools.

You promote the integration of innovation into new products in collaboration with the Research and New Technologies Department.

You report the performances Studies in Management Review.

You ensure the application of Quality / Quality Assurance methods / processes / methodologies developed jointly with the Industrialization, Quality and Manufacturing Departments.

You promote the reuse of basics in new products and work with the Maintenance Department on the control and durability of the product life cycle.

YOUR COMPETENCIES

– Industrial Engineer degree (min.) in the considered field.
– Relevant work experience in a similar function (management).
– Competence in coaching and team management.
– Competence in administrative management, budget, planning, cost management
– Commercial skills in welcoming customers and participating in discussions with them.
– Strong knowledge of written and oral English.

Production Manager (M/F)

THE COMPANY

YOUR MISSION

  • In charge of the smooth operation/running of different manufacturing process according to BEA’s general policy
  • Managing/Coordinating and supervising the whole production line.
  • Handling the human management of the employees of the department.
  • Handling the human management of the workers and their relationship with their trade union.
  • Maximize growth/productivity in order to satisfy the customers in quantity, time and quality.

 

YOUR ACTIVITIES

  • Take part in the industrial policy and make sure of its working through the management of stock and production departments.
  • Take part with the Indus Prod department in the optimisation of the whole production line by means of an efficient delegation and detailed/regular inspection.
  • Study and foresee/predict the development of the company’s means of production via a thorough holding of the overviews.
  • Set manufacturing objectives/goals in terms of quality, time, production costs, stock level.
  • Supervise projects about production (in collaboration with the industrialisation production)
  • Participate in making the manufacturing procedures evolve (in collaboration with industrialisation)
  • Approve/submit the schedule’s coherency in relation to the reality of production
  • Approve the calculation of the estimated charges workforce and machines (for each section, post…)
  • Set, in collaboration with the Industrialisation department, the means in workers and in equipment needed for each manufacture as well as the time required.
  • Maximize/Optimise the productivity of his colleagues/co-workers.
  • Responsible for a nice atmosphere in the workplace in harmony with the team leaders/organisers of the different departments (production, packaging, commerce)
  • Coordinate inventory (US) /stocktake (UK) operations in the workshops
  • Gather his staff’s training needs together to submit to the industrialisation.
  • Check material consumption in order to optimise it.
  • Carry a thorough management out in order to restrict the stock in collaboration with the appro department.
  • Guarantee a transversal communication between the different departments of the production line.
  • Communicate and comment the production reports to the Operations Director.
  • Communicate with the heads of other departments for any information likely to help in the decision making.
  • Be the driving force of a team spirit throughout the whole production line.
  • Establish the department budgets
  • Propose the investment required for the production line
  • Analyse the hidden costs in production and try to minimise them.
  • Responsible for the frequent updating of the procedure in the production line.
  • In charge of the documents related to the profession.
  • Handling the schedule/timetables (absence, …) and communicating them to the HR department.
  • Check the introduction and the update of data’s in the MRP system in order to draw statistics, analysis and pieces of information necessary for the company’s general policy.
  • Be associated with the whole of forecast studies made by the company (long-term development).
  • Propose any investment likely to increase the company’s productivity.

 

YOUR SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • University level, type engineer with technical orientation
  • Operational knowledge of English
  • Management skills proved through a good coordination, delegation, motivation and a nice sense of decision and control.
  • Relevant experience in production with 3 years minimum as manager of a complete production unit.
  • Advantage/plus factor: Black Belt Six sigma or an equivalent training, experience in lean manufacturing and in the “Agile” methods.
